MATCHUP is a grade from 0 to 100 against every matchup this season. It averages where the defense ranks for points allowed on his five most-used plays, then places that among every rotation player (15+ minutes a night) facing every defense: 90 beats 90% of them, 50 is the middle. Green is a good matchup, red a tough one. Starters only keeps the posted lineups. Until teams have played ten games, the board keeps last season’s numbers.
These are 2025-26 play-type numbers. The board moves to 2026-27 once teams have played 10 games, since a few games are too few to rank.
