Add to Home Screen

The Rundown can sit on your phone’s home screen with its own icon and open full screen, without the address bar. It takes about fifteen seconds and there is nothing to download — it is the same site, just one tap away instead of four.

You are on a computer right now. Home screen icons are a phone and tablet feature — open therundown.gg on your phone and follow the steps for it below.

iPhone or iPad — Safari

  1. 1Open therundown.gg in Safari. This does not work from inside another app’s browser, so if you tapped a link in Messages or Instagram, tap the compass icon to reopen it in Safari first.
  2. 2Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.
  3. 3Scroll down the list and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. 4Tap Add. The icon appears on your home screen like any other app.

What this does and does not do

  • It is not an app store download. Nothing installs, nothing takes up meaningful space, and you can remove the icon the same way you would any other.
  • You stay signed in. The icon opens the same session your browser already has, so you will not be asked to sign in again.
  • It still needs a connection. Boards are built from live data, so there is no offline mode — the saved icon is a faster way in, not a copy of the site.
