Top Matchups — only looks a defense is in the worst or best twelve of the league in, so a side can be empty. Ranked on production allowed per game, never on how often they play the look. Position and alignment only: a coverage or a situation is a context, so what a defense allows inside one depends on how often it is in it.
Ranks — 1 = softest, worked out over the weeks you picked. A defense that barely runs a look is left out rather than ranked on a handful of snaps, so a pool is not always 32 deep. The window applies to both halves of the page. Numbers are as of Week 3.
The week laid out game by game with the defensive read attached. Where the other NFL boards rank all 32 defenses against each other, this answers the game-shaped question: in this matchup, what does this defense give up?
Each game carries the two defenses with what they concede through the air and on the ground, alongside the pass catchers whose usage lines up with those weaknesses. A soft spot only matters if someone on the other side works that area, so the player list beside each defense is the part that turns a rank into a matchup.
