The leaderboard lists each hitter's recent stats — sortable by any column. Three things to know:
How hard he has been hitting the ball over the last 7 days (14 days against the pitcher’s hand, when that view is on), from at least 5 balls in play. It describes recent contact; it is not a prediction of a streak. SURGE is the strongest, FREEZE the weakest.
Stats default to all at-bats. Toggle to narrow:
A 0–100 matchup lens: the batter's zone-by-zone contact quality combined with where — and how well — tonight's pitcher works each zone (his zone-level results vs league, weighted by where he actually throws). Higher = the matchup tilts to the hitter. It's a view, not a projection — hover any cell for the matchup xwOBA vs the batter's own baseline. Blank when there's no slate matchup. Add it from the column picker, or use the Good Zone Matchup quick pick.
Opens the detail drawer for that batter — exit-velocity log, stats vs individual pitches, and spray chart.
Every hitter playing today, with how well he has been hitting the ball lately and the pitcher he faces tonight in the same row. It reads how hard and how cleanly he is making contact rather than whether the hits have been falling in.
The form tag is a quick read on the last one to two weeks of plate appearances — SURGE is the hottest, FREEZE the coldest, with PWR and HH+ flagging power and hard contact specifically. Stat columns are sortable and default to all plate appearances; the filters narrow them to same-handed pitchers, to the pitch types tonight’s starter actually throws, or to a hitter’s own career history against that starter. Clicking a row opens the detail drawer with the plate-appearance log, per-pitch splits, spray chart and zone view.
