About the NBA Slate

▶

Every NBA game on the date, with the spots where one defense gives up far more than most and the player across from it. Two views: a short list of top matchups per game, or one game read in full.

How to read it

Top Matchups lists only the extremes: a defense giving up far more of one thing than most, beside the player on the other team who does it. In both views the number is a league rank: 1 is the softest defense there, and green is better to attack. On Playtypes, MATCHUP grades the fit 0 to 100: style, not how much a player plays. The injury report lists who is out, and in Full Matchups the lineup control sets them to "without" to show how far each number moved.
